Trouble with some combo commands

Hey guys I'm kind of a newb so sorry for any dumb question, but I'm having trouble with my PS2 Evo, with entering commands for buffered ducking moves during combos such as Goh's [2_][6][P][K].

I can never pull off the move even if I hold down IMMEDIATELY after floating my opponent. So I'm assuming that I'm just missing the timing somehow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    peace

    [3][3][6]+[P]+[K]

    crouch dash replaces the [2_]

in the future use the search

Try doing QCF(hadoken) X 2 [P]+[K] immediatly after whatever move you want, but DO NOT HOLD down.

i too am having trouble with some of goh's move..for example

    this [6][6][P], then [4][G][P]
i can do it in practice command mode over and over again.....but the instant i try it out of that mode i cant do it...i look at the display counter and it counts 17 after the [6][6][P]...so after i [6][6][P] and 17 counts later i press [4][P][G] and it dont freaking work!!!!...arrrrg!!...so i try it in slow motion...and it still dont work...what am i doing wrong...

i have the same problem with the [3][K][G], [6][P][G]

so it got me thinking....maybe its not me..and in the practice command mode it lets u have more "lee way" to pull off the move.....help!

You need a Counter Hit for those hit-throws to work.

Read Goh's command list on this site.

i would like to read his command list....but im not sure where it is..but anywayz if u say that those need a counter hit for it to work then this move

[6][6][G]+[K], [4][P]+[G] would need one as well..but i can it off at will...what is the difference...

It pains me to have to remind people that there's a whole website attached to this forum! Click on 'home' above then click on 'Goh' in the side bar, then you'll see links to the command list.

That one works off any type of hit and even on guard as well. You just need to work on your timing. Input the throw command at the moment of impact.

Be careful, in the command list practice mode the cpu sets your opponent to auto counter hit for those two hit throws so that's probably why you're able to pull them off in that mode and having trouble with them in another one.
