Training stage 2&3?

I have problem finding the different traing stages, how do i use them it says that you get them in vs. mode but how do i activate them.....?

 

You'll have to play Kumite first. Training stage no. 2 becomes available at 5th dan and no. 3 at the rank of champion. Refer to this for more information. Once you have done this, you can select them in vs. - They are "hidden" to the left of the normal stages.
