The "-lord" rankings...they can't be serious!!

Hi guys. I just made it to Demonlord. Now I just read that in order to move up to the next rank, I have to beat 10 Demonlords in a row, while not losing to ANY of the "Lords" twice or else I'll be demoted back to Grandmaster. Are you kidding me??? That's gonna be nearly impossible! How am I expected to win against all Lord rankings until I beat 10 Demonlords in a row? Geez, someone please tell me this inacurrate.

 

Yep what you say is pretty accurate.To move up either branch of ....lord ranks you must win 10 times consecutively over a same ranked lord and finally to get to Emporer/High King ( Emp in your case ) you'll have to win 20 times consecutively!

If this is really too much for you you COULD kinda cheat and if your gonna be beaten and demoted pause the fight and go back to the main menu...it's kinda cheap but you'll get your rank up in the end.

Oh and I almost forgot... I got bumped back to Grandmaster after getting beat by Lau. Now...by being a Grandmaster again, can I now qualify at getting to Stormlord instead of Demonlord as long as I defeat 10 GMs in a row? I would like to get to SL instead of DL. I want to avoid getting +12 Victory points and get 10 wins over GMs instead. Can this still be done?

 

Hmmm I really don't know I'm afraid.I don't know if the path you split onto after conqueror ( it is then isn't it?I can't quite remember) is fixed right the way up to Emperor.Ah well at least if you get evo you're guaranteed of geting to the "best" rank as theres only one path to it!

 

I'm not too sure about where the ranks split either, but I remember getting demoted intentionally so that I'd get to High King instead of Emperor. It can be done, but check out a ranking guide first, there's a good one on this site.

Thinking back to one of my char files I think I DID managed to get demoted from Demonlord and make my way to Stormlord and ultimately High King too /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif.
