quick gvn winter brawl notice.

i am tired of waiting on paul. i call the man and he never picks up the phone even when he tells me to. so now i am looking at hotels to host gvn. Mind you if i get a hotel I will need extra tvs, game copies and consoles(ps3's and 360's). I am currently looking at the sheraton on island ave which isn't far away from where nec was held. waiting for their sales department to call me back.

 

Just to give you a status update. I talked to the people at the sheraton and they offerred me a 1900square foot room for $600. Today I called the Econo and they offered me a smaller ballroom for $750, but after telling them the price from teh sheraton, they lowered their price to $600. Tomarrow I am calling the Sheraton back and telling them their price of the econo lodge and that they have free wireless internet. I am going to try and haggle them down to at least $500( my goal is $400 but thats wishful thinking).

I am still trying to get Paul from VRush to be apart of this. Maybe have him be a sponsor and pay half the costs. I am also trying to enlist Big E's help.

Hopefully before the new year begins I will have allthe details done.

 

I have start online registration for the Winter Brawl. I am using my paypal account to do online Registration. Online Registration is $10 and will end Feb 21st. After that its going to be $15 at the door. There will be soul calibur 4, vf5, tekken 5 dr and doa. Please click the link below to register. The tournament will most likey be held at the Sheraton, I am going to call them tomarrow or monday and try to haggle them one last time. Winter Brawl will be held Feb 28th.

 

Got a date and times for this Hubbs? I'll think about registering if I knew more. Anyone else coming to this?

 

I am really, really, really, really, really, really going to try and make this one for DOA, VF5 and possibly Soul Caliber(doubt i'll be able to learn the game in time).

 

I'll mostly likely attend but I'll hold off on registering until it gets closer to Feb.

 

Big E is on board and wants to bring in SF4 and BlazeBlue. He and I are meeting up at the hotel today to finalize everything.
