Pittsburgh, PA cmu tourny

So after reading http://jchensor.blogspot.com/ that shag graciously posted up I've gotten the incentive to try and run a tourney here in Pittsburgh.

Rules:
winner and runner ups get a slice of the pot
single elimination
entry fee (TBA)

So how many of you would be down for this and I'll get the cogs in motions to set it up with a date if we could get a decent showing.

Dang, tourney at my alma mater. Talk to the OGS league at CMU if you want help for this. They will post things all over CMU about the tournament and may be willing to help think up prizes and whatnot (don't think you can have cash stuff as prizes at CMU because then it looks like gambling - happened due to the one huge poker torunament we had at one point about 4 years ago with best buy cash as the prize... got them to reconsider).

 

I've talked to them. I'm friends with their presedent. They'd defiantly be up for running it I just have to prove to them that we'd get a showing.

how many people is considered a strong showing like 15-20? If we can hype this up enough I can probably get this running later in the year close to the latter part though.
