One Quick Throw Escape Question

    I know that to escape a throw you need to input the corresponding throw escape (tE(/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif) = /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif) in the brief 'escapable' period during a grapple. What I'm asking is if you can escape a standard /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif throw with [any direction]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif.
    Basically does (tE(/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif) = /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif) work?

    No. To escape neutral /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, you must hit only /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif (no directional inputs).

    Makes standard p+g throws good against people that escape several throw directions well. Most neutral p+g throws have guarunteed down attacks afterwards.

    Depending on the character too, neutral throws are great for racking up ring outs.

    Has anyone compiled a list of most likely throws to be used by each character? I did see one once but can't bloody find it now and dunno where it was!

    So if fighting Wolf most likely escapes to work would be.....? And so on.

    Also a quick question about ground throws.

    Ive seen them escaped but what circumstances are escapable and what would be the command to escape? For example if you get stunned by Goh can you escape the huge damage off that hit throw which I presume is a low throw?

    While on the subject of grapples when you get put in a hold such as Brads Knee clinch or Goh's Judo clinch is it random if you escape or does it depend how quickly the opponent inputs the command to finish the throw. Ive been tapping L and R like a mad man and not escaped yet sometimes they just kind of let go?

    Yeah, I remember how some throws in VF2 would cause the executioner (not the victim) to ring out if made anywhere close to the edge of the ring

    I've broken down and purchased a 360, so I'll see if I can update the throw escape guide to ver C over the next month or so... I can't help but get on XBL when I get a chance to play tho... =)
