New here, and somewhat new to VF.... go easy on me

Hey all, I'm new here. An american from Northern IL. It's tough since as most of you know, there's no VF scene here in the states. Sucks.

I first got into VF back with the first one. I was floored by the game, since there was nothing like it at all until then. Then I played VF2 quite a bit, but was never sure about all the technical stuff. Got into three, but just barely, and now I'm into VF4 evo.

I'm getting very serious about playing, since all my friends from www.neo-geo.com say it's one of the best fighters ever made. These guys know about fighting games, and since it's my number one love, I figured "what the hell", and jumped head first into Evo. So far, loving it to death.

Hey, there's no arcade scene period, where I'm from (Rockford, IL). It's a damn wonder that I'm even into video games living in this god forsaken city! lol.

well did you just move here? cause there are tournaments all over the place. and any way, are you any good? or are you totally starting from scratch with your skills?
