How do one perform these actions, im also wondering that why sometimes when i see evading in videos, they are much faster then usual -_-.

Can a crouchdash den tap up work ? i tried but it was kinda slow or should i crouchdash + G to cancel then tap up

DTEG = double throw escape guard

say you're akira and jeffrey blocks your yoho, you can press [6][P]+[G], then [3][P]+[G], and then keep [G] held down.

this will prevent you from being hit by jeff's [3] and [6] throw motions as well as defending against any of his non-low moves.

EDTEG is the same thing with an evade, so now you'll no longer be vulnerable to lows, but vulnerable to circulars.

And to answer your question about an evade being quicker, it was probably a successful evade... which most evades are... so you must be throwing out evades at the wrong times /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

I think he ment ECD (evading crouchdash) when talking about fast evades... I kinda think he has seen a successful evade at some point...

After you've input your evade command quickly do a CD (crouchdash) motion to cancel it, that is, [3][3]. You do this on unsuccessful evades to be less vunerable or as a part of stepping / whatnot.

So.. the entire thingy would be something like [8][3][3] instead of just evading. Keep practicing it and you'll learn it pretty quickly (trainingmode for president). And yeah btw, you need to input [G] after your CD to be "free" to evade asap.
