Low-throwing from Stomach Crumble or Force Crouch

    Can a low throw be countered from a stomach crumbled opponent?

    My most massive damage combo so far is:

    I've had a lot of success with it, though maybe better players would throw escape?

    Low throw can be throw escaped from a stomach crumble.

    The sequence of attacks you listed can be avoided after the first punch unless its a counter hit, after the threat stance & before the threat K, or throw escaped after the threat K counterhits.

    The stomach crumble combo listed in

    I will say I use this every now and then but I prefer catching people with the Sidekick from the threat stance, its safer IMHO

    When you deal with mad evaders, starting the stomach crumple from f+P+K helps.

    The first one is safe and have good range. Good for okazime.
    The second one is fast. I'm not sure but maybe is good to punish low punch whores.

    Crumple throws only work on AI and opponents you shouldn't be playing anyway.

    cirex, if the opponant does any input(guard, 2p, etc etc), the low throw is not guaranteed after those moves. it's fun to use against friends in casuals, but nothing more than that.

The opponent has to do some kind of instant standing - dodge, dash forward, or attack (or just escape the low throw).

    /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif gives enough advantage on any hit that the low throw attempt has to be escaped - they cant avoid it any other way.

    43P+K is my favorite now.
    It's save on block and can make masive damage.

    /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif> /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif Is a nasty, nasty setup and a true combo even on a NORMAL hit.

    this is not a true combo. the throw can be broken, and on normal hit, the opponent can interrupt the throw as well! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

    Yes they can break it but it IS a TRUE combo. They CAN NOT interrupt it on a successful hit, I'm positive about this, I practiced it and checked it dojo mode. Also, you can see that it's a combo from how their life bar goes down, the red from /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif gets added to the red from the low throw. It is +12 on normal hit.

    How??? It's -12f, they can't abare if they don't have 1f to do it in. It's a COMBO!!! At -12f they can't do anything about the throw, the throw takes 12f, that's all there is, NO ABARE here. As long as you buffer the low throw all they can do is try to escape. If they try to abare, good, they'll get thrown because there's not even 1 extra frame for their punch to execute.

    the healthbar in dojo doesn't mean anything. you can do NON-true combos on the AI and the red part of the healthbar will STILL increase because the AI is just standing there. trust me on this...

    a TRUE combo for jeff would be something like...

    3pp => 66pp

    yea youre right about the -12. a jab won´t interupt it. i remembered reading something about throw clashes but i remembered wrong.

    I'm telling you, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is a SERIOUS move. Evade into /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif> into /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is fucking brutal and easy to do, just have to buffer the low throw exactly right to come out at the earliest possible moment.

    /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif has been a guaranteed low throw attempt since VF4. They cannot abare out of it, it gives too much frame advantage.

    That being said, it's a really slow move - you would have to dodge something with more than 47 total frames in order for it to be a minor counter - and it doesn't guarantee more than 35ish damage unless it major counters. I don't see why it would be particularly useful after evade; /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is much more likely to minor counter, and will do more damage.
