Low/Ground Throw Escapes

Sorry if this is a rather obvious question. But, I've been doing a lot of searching and haven't been able to find a concrete answer on this.

I know how to escape normal throws, it's pretty simple. I know how to escape low throws (direction and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif) and know how to escape ground throws too. My question is, how many throw escape attempts are you allowed to input for low and ground throws?

For example, El Blaze can either do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif for his low throws. Which means players can input the same to escape throws. But, can they input only one throw escape? Or can they input both? If they can input both, wouldn't it be nearly impossible to actually land a low throw? The same question goes for down throws.

    Thanks in advance.

IIRC, for low throws, you can input multiple throw escapes, but for ground throws, you can only input one which essentially makes it a 50/50 guess.

So, do low throws just come out fast enough in guaranteed throw situations that it's hard to input more then one low throw escape? Or do you just have to out yomi your opponent enough that they wont even be thinking of putting in low throw escapes?

"Guaranteed" low throw situations are pretty much the same as guaranteed standing throw situations - if they're on top of things, they can multiple throw escape. Of course, any time you have a "guaranteed" throw or low throw attempt, you can at least /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif for damage that actually is guaranteed.

Another place to look at low throw is against fuzzy guard. Even if madness like (/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif,/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif within 6 frames) was possible for your opponent to low throw escape during fuzzy guard (edit - I'm not suggesting that it is possible), it'd be a lot harder for them than recognizing guaranteed low throw situations & just throw escaping.

Thanks for the feedback you two guys.

So, don't be too obvious with my low throws, otherwise, they'll just be escaped. Probably safer to go with guaranteed damage moves like the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif in situations where a low throw would be guaranteed , as you mentioned.

An El Blaze specific trick I've seen is canceling rocket discharge with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and then going for the low throw on opponents that were ducking to avoid Deja Vu.

Sigh. I can't wait to actually try such things, I wish the 30th would come sooner!

The plan I recommend is to go for max damage/mix it up. If you're nailing your opponents with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif and they don't escape - keep doing it. That throw is worth 65 damage (pretty fantastic as far as throws go). Once they learn and input the escape, switch to guaranteed damage - they'll become complacent because they know they can't do anything - then, start throwing them again.
