    In the PS2 Evo training mode combo search feature, there is a combo listing for Pai that I simply cannot land. The combo is:
    (JM)[6][K](hold) -> [6_][P] -> [1][P][K][G] -> [7][K]+[G]
    The conditions are counter hit in closed stance. I've done the combo many times where it "should" have landed but alas, no joy. I would appreciate it if someone could land this combo and tell me how much damage is done and maybe some advice as to what I'm doing wrong. (I'm writing a guide and will give you credit)

    I believe this is a typo/error in the game.

    The combo you mentioned only works against Goh, Brad, Lau and Jacky for a total of 85pts.

    For Pai, and every other character except Jeffry, you can use:

    (JM)[6][K](hold) - [6_][P] - [6_][P] - [7][K]+[G] (82pts)

    For Jeffry, use:

    (JM)[6][K](hold) - [6_][P] - [2][P] - [7][K]+[G] (81pts)

    All of the above are open stance combos, but since the JM knee changes feet, you need to start in closed stance.

    Thanks again, Myke. Glad to know I'm not crazy. My hands are throbbing after trying this combo for two hours. BTW, my personal favorite [6][K] combo against Pai is: OS or CS (JM)[6][K](hold) -> [6_][P] -> [K]+[G][P][P] for 82 points damage. Super easy and good ring out potential.

    Hey that's the combo I use regularly as well, it's very useful. [6][K] [from jumonji] ~ [6_][P] ~ [2][P]+[K] ~ [6][2][3][P]+[K] is pretty good also.

    Yeah, [6_][P] -> [2][P]+[K] -> [6][2][3][P]+[K] is pretty much Kage's old standby combo finisher. But it's too common, so I try to mix up a few others just to keep myself interested. Particularly, I like to substitute [1][P][K][G] instead of [6_][P] whenever I can. It just has that aura of "Damn, that guy knows what he's doing." about it. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    Haha, basically all Kage players can do that... given that the basic TFT combo [4][P]+[G] ~ [2_][6][K] ~ [P][K][G] ~ [P] ~ [6][K]+[G] ~ [6][6] ~ [3][K] requires you to be able to input it correctly. But yes, flashy combos is in Kage's blood.

    Yeah, Kage is king. I really like pulling off the [P][K][G] -> [1][P][K][G] combos. As for all Kage players being able to do the [1][P][K][G] movement, you're right. But doing it consistently is what separates the casual Kage from those who know what they're doing. That was my point. You can't just throw [1][P][K][G] anywhere. Only certain combos keep you close enough to be able to use it instead of [6_][P].
