So Apple finally unveiled the iPhone at the 2007 Macworld keynote. Check out the official site and watch the QuickTours: http://www.apple.com/iphone/ From the features, the graphical, human and touch interfaces, it looks pretty damn sexy right now. The storage capacity seems rather low though (4GB and 8GB models) when compared to todays iPods, but I'd have little doubt these won't increase.
No 3G. We know you know, but still, it hurts man. No over the air iTunes Store downloads or WiFi syncing to your host machine. No expandable memory. No removable battery. No Exchange or Office support. and no 3rd party software........... i think i will pass, and hope for the 2nd gen that's not too far away..LOL
The iPhone is going to sell like hot cakes, just like when the iPod came out. It will be a sure success. People are creaming about the keynotes as is. Zune, PSP, DS and all high-end Cingluar cell phones out there: Game Over, enter coin to continue. And to all you Jobs hater out there.. we got iPhone. we got iPhone.. we Got iPhone... I'm just kidding about the GG DS part, but I sure feel sorry for all the losers who just got ZOMG ZOWNED with their Zune.
I love the look of the iphone, but i just need to know more about it. For myself: I need a phone that can sync with my outlook easily, can view/edit word, excel and PDF files, and supports chinese hand writing input. In the other hand, 3G and Camera quality is not so important to me. If the iphone can do it all, I will get it. I still have a year's time until they release the Asia version of it.
