I fought against Electric Leo!!!

I was quite surprised when I met this Lion character in Quest mode called "ElectrcLeo"...
It was in one of the two easiest arcades, don´t remember which one exactly!

Did you knew that you are in the game Leo?

 

Yeah I was amused by that too. It was quite weird seeing the name of someone in a game that you've also "met" online (if reading their posts on a forum although you've never actually replied to any of them, nor have they replied to yours, counts as meeting lol).

I haven't come accross anyone else's name that I recognise from VFDC. I hope to run into a few people from here online in VF5, especially Electric Leo as I've fought his quest character. It will be interesting to compare it to the real deal.

I have to say in advance I expect to get my ass handed to me online as I've not played VF since 3tb and I have no knowledge of all the frame data, advantages etc that the people on VFDC have. I tried to learn but I didn't really understand it to be honest.

My gamertag is Ryuu Katsuro btw if anyone's interested in a few easy victories lol.

 

As far as I'm correct Electric Leo was a beta tester for VF5, and is also named in the credits. I also fought him in Quest mode.

Katsuro, don't blame yourself. I'm also new to the post-VF3 franchise. I'm not fond of everything they have changed as it is more towards mainstream than, for example, VF3 was - but I can deal with it. If you are up for some practice sessions, just give me a call. I'm also trying to adapt to all the things changed. The most difficult thing for me is to not use the Evade button, which is not there anymore - which leaves me motionless on the ground without standing up at times. Quite funny, actually.

 

I've seen Myke and a few other people from VFDC in Quest Mode as well. If I remember right, Myke was a Raider Kage. I'm trying to remember the others, but I knew I'd seen their names on here before when I fought them.

 

Did he withhold information of dojo mode from you?

 

OMG I'm in the credits?! I'll actually read them next time I finish arcade mode!

I was in the PS3 version, I guess I just carried over. They seemed to have fixed my outfits now, though - I was hideously dressed before.

I wasn't a beta tester, I don't think I have the patience for that. I do have a friend that works at Sega, though. Maybe I made it into the credits because I met the AM2 guys at Leipzig? I'm not sure why I'm in there, though I'm over the moon that I am /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

Well I've fought Plague in quest mode now too. so that's at least 2 people from VFDC I've definately fought. Might be more as I'm guessing some of the VFDC members don't use the same tag on here as their ring name.

As you can tell, the novelty of fighting AI versions of people from VFDC hasn't worn off yet lol. I'll have to get online at some point, been too busy with quest mode.
