How to watch KS5 14th Saturday 3AM GMT

Since Gyao have some sort of weird DRM like last time. You will need a JP proxy which allows you to download the licenses needed. If you can find one (Japanese Proxy) and you can play the video from this link then you won't need to follow this guide.


Please note : This stream doesn't work in Firefox for me. So this is strictly for Internet Explorer

Click on Play under the VF5 KS5 picture. When the new window pops up if you get an error it means the proxy doesn't support the protocol required for the license.




If you don't have a good proxy ... Which I assume will be most people here then

Download the program in this link http://rs373.rapidshare.com/files/135283875/vpnclient-5350-rtm-en-win32-x86.exe

Install...

Open the program and create a new VPN connection. It will ask you to name the adapter. Call it anything you like and press ok.

You'll get another prompt asking you to install drivers which are not signed, click on continue anyway.

Once that is installed, you should have an adapter installed on the bottom window of the VPN program. Right click on the new VPN connection in the top window and select properties.

Paste the settings from this picture into the window



Then click OK.

Right click on the new connection and click on connect. Wait a while and you should get a packet window pop up in Japanese. Click on the grey button...

After click on the grey button a small window should pop up saying connecting..

Once you have been connected (Your internet connection will reset) close your browser and restart it. (In this case I.E)

Click on play under the VF KS5 picture.

If you see the Gyao video it should buffer slowly because you're connecting through a VPN. The stream will play two more videos after this. A VF5R video and some lovely lady explaining VF5 or something. Once that is done, click on the VPN connection window on your task bar.

Right click on new vpn connection, select Disconnect. This will restart your internet connection again. Close all you browser windows and open Internet Explorer again

Open the VF5R link again. The video should now stream much faster!!! Enjoy KS5

Please Note: That it seems the licenses are only valid until you restart your PC it seems now. So remember to do this 2-3 hours before you watch.

If it doesn't work or you receive an error, I have no idea what could be wrong. Try and repeat some steps or ask for help in this thread.

This guide was written using Vista.

Thank you very much! I was hoping this would get posted. When is the official date and start time for KS5? I gotta make sure I'm well rested as I am sure it will be some were hours of the night that I am not normally up.

If you receive the sign up page like in Manji's post. Here are the instructions

First one is sex, left is male right is female
2nd is post code (332-0011) or any random jp post code
next is birthday left is year right is month
4th is email
the next one is if you want spam email, left is no
and the last one is if you agree with their terms of service, left is yes

 

So, big question, anyone had any success?

 

just an additional FYI for those that use Firefox. there is a plug-in that allows you to load sites that only work through IE.

Does this method work with a router in-between? (Guess no)

 

I dont even know what the error page looks like. I got to the register page and then to another page and no matter what back to the register page even though I registered once ( I think)
