New details seem to be

You can now combine costumes. So you can mix costume A pants with costume B's top.

Item Quest mode(A series of battles and if you win all of them you gain an item)

VF bingo mode(Can be done in VS)

Apparently AM2 were asked if Ver C was a new game like EVO, AM2 said no its too difficult to make an entirely new game like EVO..

oh, just for clarification, I think the implication was that Evo is too difficult to make right now but because people are demanding Evo, it'll eventually be made some time.

Wonder if a software update for VF5 will make it to the console versions. With online distribution being what it is nowadays shouldnt be to difficult for XBOXLIVE and PS3 Network.

Saturn VF2 had the option to switch between VF2 2.0 and VF2 2.1 versions.

as here in the UK it was extremely hard to find VF4 and VF5 is nigh on impossible.
so as a gamer and of course a VF player this would so welcome.

 

What a funny concept. SEGA makes money off of the version in Japanese arcades and you think they will release it onto console versions as if they actually care about consoles and/or those of us in the west who can't get to their arcades.

 

Its called wishful thinking, but I hope they do release it through a download. It would save sega alot of production cost and less of a risk.

I was watching some of the youtube clips and this question came to me? For those who have the game can you please answer. How do the costumes work now that you can mix and match? Do you still get the four different outfits to work with then you just customize there?

Ummm I don't think anyone has version C yet? Japan arcade only so far.

 

Not even that, it was only on test. It's not playable now anymore unless you play it at AM2.

 

So right now it's only playable(?) in test modes? I did not know that. Judging by the videos, I figured it was out already. I would love to live in Japan to test out some of these games in test mode. That would be super awesome. Oh well, soon I think it will be released, right?
