Favorite Matchups

I'm a Wolf player. My favorite match up is against Goh players.
It's a pretty fun & even match! As a Wolf player I can land a few mid kick reversals, Shinning Wizards, and practice my low throw escapes. It's fun for the Goh player because it forces him to evolve his game.

Just curious what other people's favorite matchups are, and why?

 

I like facing Shun Di. Not so much from a technical standpoint, but despite mine being laughable, I like the old coot. I think he's great fun to watch when done right.

 

I love fighting Goh, Lei Fei Vanessa and Pai.

 

i like fighting Goh, Akira, Jeff

 

I've still got a lot to learn so at the moment I get the most from fighting other Akira players.

 

I am a pai player and I like playing other pai players best because to see which one is better, every time I play one of them it is always a close match up and we fight so much alike that it seems like I am fighting my clone.

 

Vanessa vs Aoi is imo an incredibly fun matchup. Both characters really have to go out of the box.

 

Hmmmm i don't think i have a favorite match up character wise. My favorite match up is against people that can beat me or give me a run for my money.

 

Jeff vs Jacky. Always entertaining.

 

For the Jacky. It's very easy for Jeffs to get frustrated vs some characters.

 

I like fighting other eileen players because I can steal things from them and I know their moves better than any other char. Otherwise I like fighting Jeff because he's so much slower than my girl but at the same time he hits a lot harder. It's like david vs Goliath.

I HaTe fighting wolf though he scares the shit out've me. Those devastating throws and he's not all that slow. Maybe it's just that I meet more good wolf's than jeff's.

 

Vs Eileen I have to resort to quick attack spam, I just can't get her off me. Usually it works though. Same problem I have with Sarah, but worse.

 

Maybe I'm just better than the Jackys I play against or the Jackys I play against are that bad. I think a lot of them are surprised at the fight I put up against them though. May help that my friends been playing Jacky since VF1 exclusively.

(I'm not saying it's easy just entertaining, aka I like a challenge especially when statistically I shouldn't win)

 

Shun vs. Kage or Lei Fei. Always a blast to watch.
