Excited for the PlayStation 4K. GG to XB1 and PC gaming...

It can be safely assumed that once PS4K drops, It's game over for XBox One and PC players. I mean XB1 is already dead, and it's a joke that a console will finally bring 4k gaming to reality instead of the all hype no exclusives PC. If you aren't saving up for a PS4K, I have to ask you: why? Discuss?

Son, save up some money. Get a 4K UHD TV, preferably Sony (cuz it matches with PS4K) or at least a Samsung or an non-Chinese brand like Vizio. Then save up some more money and get the PS4K... until then you are just a pleb, who can't afford 4k. Bitch!

4K on ps4 will be upscaled crap

 

He looks quite a lot more blurred to me in the 1080p shot compared to the 4k one on my 1080p monitor if you enlarge it. This must be some marketing ploy though because no way do 1080p and 720p look that blurred. They'll probably pull the same stunt when 8k comes around and make 4k look really blurry in comparison to accentuate the difference.

 

this is a timeold debate whenever "new" resolutions goes casually accesible.

yes there is a big leap in clarity given a sane source material and a screen fit to fudge ur eyes with it.

no, some people do not pick up on details the same (im not neuro-educated or a doctor so why i dunno)

no, new "consoles" (branded limited pcs) are not worth it unless you despise computers/do not wish to get a capable one.

yes i like high res, because im silly and get purry about details. only going from 1080p to 2k (viewing downscaled 4k on it) there is enough sweet diff to make me watch demos of shit like dirtcross or nature and leguan skin with dreamy eyes and then 12 mins later i remember i should do life again. but we get to choose what we waste time on luckily ^^

and mjyeah, 4k movies are not big yet but in time. id not either think anyone needs to jump away from 1080p or whatever unless they have that visual fetish too. its a choice ^^

 

PS4:Neo isn't able to run games at 4K resolution, it is suppose to support 4K streaming movies and shows and play 4K movie content not 4K games. It will have better 1080P graphics for PS4 games and has more memory and processing power than Vanilla PS4. New Nvidia and AMD GPU's will be out sometimes in 2016 which should be a significant upgrade for PC gamers.
