hey so I was starting my blog and came up with this list of nitaku stuff and figured it's something everyone should have the pleasure of knowing.

    Nitaku starters

    PCH>nitaku
    2PCH>nitaku
    1PKCH>nitaku
    6PCH>nitaku
    4PCH>nitaku
    OMP>nitaku
    OMK>nitaku

    nitaku enders

    throw
    6P+K
    2_3P+K
    6P
    3P
    9K+G

I don't play eileen, so maybe there's something magic I'm not noticing, but lots of those situations aren't nitaku, because fuzzy beats both mid and throw.

You need at least +7 for nitaku (+6 if you consider choosing between /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and throw to be nitaku).

I know for a fact that eileen's PK leads to her 6P mid or throw situation because I've used it without being fuzzied on. Might be online lag making it harder to fuzzy or something but on hit PK leaves her at +4 using that logic I did the rest. I was actually just told that her PK was a nitaku from someone I forget who it's somewhere on these forums. If that truely is wrong I'll have to update this list. So if you opponent is at -6 or less they can fuzzy you anytime they want?

you may know that for a fact, but it's still an incorrect fact.

Try this: Set the CPU to guard, then mid or throw.

Do Eileeens 6P+K (this move is -6 on block). When its guarded, crouchdash forward and tap G. This will defend both mid and throw even though the cpu has +6 advantage; thus, +6 is not enough for nitaku.

I don't think you can count K+G CH as nitaku since you don't have a throw option after executing the move. You're left back turned don't forget.

Even if you intend to turn around ASAP and throw, you'll still have lost your nitaku status by the number of frames it takes to turn around.

As it happens does anybody know how many frames it take to turn around from back turned, and what about from side turned?

you have the mid(P+K) low(2K+G) nitaku game there which is just as strong as the mid throw.

OK I see, I was just used to nitaku a throw/mid mix up, I guess sweep/mid is 2 options.

Although nitaku means "two choice" in Japanese, I believe in VF nitaku specifically refers to the crisis choice situations in which a player has advantage such that the defender must either attack or ETE/TE. In other words (and I could be wrong here) I don't think it replies to a mid/sweep situation, rather only to the mid/throw two choice.

That's what I thought too, because the k+g leaves her back turned. Anyway, whatever, it's still a desirable position to be in just maybe not nitaku.

whoops my bad, damn terminology. I've also noticed the mid can be side stepped so I guess that's why it's not quite as strong as a regular nitaku.

In a normal nitaku, the mid can get sidestepped too, it's lucky that Eileen's k+g while back turned is round.
