Does "days" in Quest = Number of total hours you've spent in matches?

I have a theory that the counter that marks off "days" in Quest mode = Number of total hours you've spent playing the game (in matches) with your character.

    Can anyone confirm/deny this?

If this is not the case, I am looking for another way to keep track of how many hours I have put into playing the game.

Doesn't seem to be the case. I noticed that every third time I left a match and returned to the area selection screen the amount of days would automatically increase by one, although I'm not sure if there are any other factors that would also contribute to an increment.

*cough* I'm sorry I didn't read the last sentence you wrote, but you could try the above on the version of VF that you own to see if it applies.
