do you think sega will have downloadable content

Do any of you think sega will release downloadable content on for the PS3 or 360. i hope so this is my favorite fighting game. id love some new downloadable content.

 

I really doubt it, but maybe AM2 can prove me wrong.

Even if there is downloadable content don't expect to be more than wallpapers or character items...and that's a big IF anyways.

Threads like these are just more unrealistic wishlists.

Fix the A.I. then bring the game online.

what the hell are you guys talking about, anyway pyschos. sega doesnt hate americans and whats with the racist iranian comment. if sega hated americans would they release VF5 in the united states uh no. if you hated someone would you give them access to your product. VF probably sells more in japan compared to the united states, so of course there going to release more versions and updates cause people there will buy it. the other thing is stop the online play arguments. if youve ever played VF5 at a highest level youd understand that matches can be decided by 1 or 2 frames. so i hope they dont ever ruin the gameplay of VF this is the only fighting game i can lose at and say wow i actually lost that match because the gameplay is so balanced. so if you want an online fighting game theres DOA4 which shows why fighting games shouldnt be online. im sorry DOA4 is fun but the game cant be played on a high level. a couple counters and your dead. lame.

The only downloadable content that is needed is a patch to bring the PS3 up to version C and an AI patch.

Sega has yet to really do much with downloadable content (other then demos) since the their first games for the 360 and PS3.Unless VF5 helps sell more PS3s or the 360 version sells more then Gears of War we probably will not get any downloadable content and would have to wait for VF5:Evo for anything new.

Only for the american site. Check out the japanese one... they have some download content for other stuff.

i wont lie it would piss me off if japan had downloadable content and other countries didnt. i know VF isnt as popular here in the states and other countries but most of us who do play VF really love this game. i know i always look forward to any new VF news and update. sorry but that would piss me off if sega released downloadable content to the japanese audience only.

i also have a japanese copy but that would still suck for the people who waited for the game here in the states. not everyone imports games. im glad i did import this game though and im also glad i imported fist of the north star.

by the way you sound like a little kid. i got a japanese copy and you dont. almost everyone on this forum has a japanese copy big deal. i doubt it will happen but i just hope sega does come out with some downloadable content later on down the road. the game might not be online but sega could offer some downloadable content which would give the VF5 some more replay value.

Ha, you should try living in the UK, the playstation store is a desolate wasteland atm. But yeah, i agree, if any downloadable content for VF5 will come out, it should definately be a patch for version C. That way at least we know we're all playing the same thing.

Actually , screw Version C. If I got a version C patch it would make my blackbook and brady games guide useless . Or I'd have to mark them up with red ink. EITHER way it would suck.
Making Kages 3P a high hit is a sacrilage.
On of VFS strengths is all the command lists abide by a system. All 3P commands result in a mid hit hand strike or elbow . Im not saying characters shouldnt have special mids , but they should never replace an existing mid move.
