My friends and I (about 12 of us) play VF Evo alot now, and between us we share 4 copies of VF Evo (and like 9 of VF4) and six VF Evo joysticks (not to mention 2 SCII joysticks, and an X-Arcade Stick), and just started work on a back to back sit-at type arace cabinet for VF.

If anyone has any advice for me, go ahead. Post questions too.

We have ordered some used universal arcade cabinets from Sega of Japan, and from Capcom of Japan, both of the cabinets they make are very similar. The only real differences are the locations of speakers, and that the Sega ones are back to back, and the Capcom ones are side to side. Also the Capcom ones are large enough to house a full size Tv instead of a custom monitor.

PS, Has anyone ever made any arcade machine for home use before?

I am going to upload some pictures of what the cabins look like.

This is the model I am getting shipped from Capcom though it will not have any wiring or Joystick parts in it, or stickers logos etc. This is roughly what I am getting.

This is a pretty decent machine in terms of simulating a VF cabinet, the real differences are size of the cabinet and the monitor, the VF cabinet is smaller, but the monitor is larger.
