Dead Or Alive 5: Last round is a current and next gen game coming out on February 17 2015 with a PC release on the same date.

• ps3/xbox 360 version available for 29.99$
• ps4/xbox one version is available for 39.99$
• PC version is available on steam in march
• all DLC content is trasnferable

All characters feature in previous versions ( along with DLC characters Nyotengu and Marie Rose) will be featured along this game along with returning character Raidou and a hidden character.

Looks fun, but I still dislike the fact that the environment can KO you.

 

a wall combo does huge damage in VF while DOA wall combos are...meh + DOA doesnt have ring outs so your not entirely screwd when you get dropped out of a ring.

 

Think he's talking about when you fall off a ledge and die

The info in the other thread contains info before and during doa5 vanilla. Anyone who went there would not know the diffrence between the 2. Its too dated.

 

I want to play some 4 player tag matches!! Also excited about how the force out moves will affect tag matches.

Yes, it's a possible DLC. Japan got to choose one of three sets to be included in the CE, that is one of the sets.

 

UK has them for pre-order as well. No word about the US yet

 

This isn't a jab at anyone in this thread, but just a general observation:

I find it interesting that when discussing any other new fighting game, the conversation is usually about characters' move sets and the game engine. However, when discussing DOA the conversation is usually about the myriad of different costumes. The costumes, they look pretty cool, but is Team Ninja updating the engine at all? Changing frames around? etc?

 

That's because DOA is a straight, softcore porn catalogue with added reversals.

 

Yeah 4ex there adding 5 frames to low holds. So now players cant use that as a escape against high attacks anymore. But im glad they did this. Play the game how its meant to be played. As for moves im not sure. Jacky will most likely get a buff......and a nerf because ex highs dnt exist in DOA LOL. New moves, the power launcher like wiz said. ( Which in my opinion is useless) Everything else is a unknown.

 

They haven't really released any new notes (not as I've heard of). The only thing that was sent as in character info that I got lately was from Kasumi's changes which was translated from Google.
