Awesome combos for Lion players

    Anyone having troubles dishing out a lot of damage real quick with Lion in Kumite? Can't juggle Wolf or Jeffry? Want to unleash his REAL potential?
    Well worry no more! I have combos here that will quickly take from Rookie to Champ. Note that I'm not claiming that I and I alone made these combos nor have read any combos for Lion posted in VFDC. These combos were inspired by the Legendary Chibita in his replays and Ice 9 who is found here.(I think) Without those two, I would be stuck in the Dans ranks. Enough small talk! On with the combos!

    Combo 1:
    [P]+[K][4][6][P]+[K][P][P][2][K][K]

    Combo 2:
    [4][4][K][P]+[K](buffered)[4][6][P]+[K][P][P][2][K][K]

    Combo 3:
    [2][P][2_][6][P]***[6][P][P][1][K]+[G][8][P](heavy down attack)

    Combo 4:
    [4_][P]+[K](charge to full)[4][6][P]+[K][P][P][6][6][K][K][3][P](light down attack)**

    Combo 5:
    [2][P][2_][6][P]+[G][6][6][K][K]

    Combo 6:
    [6][P]+[K](delay)[K][4][6][P]+[K][P][P][1][K]+[G][8][P](heavy down attack)*

    Combo 7:
    [P]+[K][4][6][P]+[K][P][P][1][K]+[G][8][P](heavy down attack)

    *will juggle ANYONE and EVERYONE
    **Does around 100-140 damage!!
    ***Must be a counter hit or it won't work

    some of those don't work. the ai can tech-roll these as well. sometimes better than humans.

    Actualy none of those are true combos, the LP, throw is a useful move, but definiately not a combo, and the others are all tech rollable.Anyways, I didnt post to criticisize, but to share some of the true combos I use with lion:

    [2_] [6]+[P], [4] [4] [K], [P]+[K], [4] [6] [P]+[K], [P], [P]
    *for everyone
    [4] [4] [K], [P]+[K], [4] [6] [P]+[K], [P], [P]
    *against heavy weights
    [4] [4] [K], [P]+[K], [3_] +[P],[P], light down attack
    *against LW and MW. You need to hold DF so his two swipe move comes out, instead of his light down attack

    I'm not sure if I hit with the last P in the [4] [6] [P]+[K], [P], [P] string, or if these weight classes are 100% acurate, but its what I use when I'm goofing around with Mr Rafale. Please post more combos Lion fans, both high damaging and flashy ones!

    Actually, the AI in the high level (I think) ranks such as all the "Lord" ranks, don't tech roll if you get a counter blow or interrupt a throw. These will work more often than you might think. Also, I'll put together a little list of pests in Kumite that you'll meet around Subjugator or Thunderlord, these pests will harrass you for a LONG time. Depending on your progress thru Kumite. /versus/images/icons/cool.gif

    New Combos for Lion (Add-ons actually...)

    Here is a little thing for all you Lion players to play with:
    Try adding [P] after[2_][6][P] or [P]+[K] then the [4][6][P]+[K][P][P] and any other flashy/damaging finishes. You don't HAVE to use a down attack to finish. Also one more thing. DO NOT come complaining to me if your opponent tech rolls out of the finishing blows. Timing and speed is every thing in these combos.
