1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

    Hi all,

First off sorry if this has been asked, did a search but couldn't find anything.

Only just started playing VF5 but really getting into it, got some spare cash at the moment and wondered if anyone could reccomend an Arcade Stick for the 360.

Would search online myself but stuck at work, amazed that I can access this site actually!

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Just chiming in with my support for the EX2. I'm a new player as well, and it's been a fantastic stick to learn on. Just make sure you remap the buttons to GPK when your first start using it. (The default button mapping on my Hori was seemingly random)

Excellent chhers guys, just ordered it!

it was only £47 so less than I expected to pay for a semi decent stick.

I got the "Limited Edition VF5" Hori Stick, which turned out to be the same EX2 and a page of VF STICKERS to put on it! However, the stick is great.

Hint: Map BOTH Player1 and Player2 button configs for the Hori stick. If you are player2 in a match online, you will be using the player2 config, regardless of which light is lit on your controller. This was a shock to me the first time, and cost me a ranked match. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Down the track if you find the stick and/or buttons a bit unresponsive you can always swap them for better quality Sanwa parts /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

You make it sound like an easy job. Swapping the parts on that stick requires heavy modification.

The quality of the stick and the buttons are decent. If you've never personally used sanwa parts then you will not have any complaints.
