    Imo this is big news. It's one thing for Sega to build a network in Europe / The states - a different thing for Sega + Sammy + Namco to build a network that isn't board specific and can be reused amongst games (unlike vf.net) so imo the odds of it going outside of Japan has greatly increased. In Silentempires post he said "According to Spong.com, Sammy/Sega and Namco will ally to create a network for arcade games in N. American/Europe after initial launch in Japan." which indicates it already is.
