This past weekend NEC 13 happened on the East Coast and if you are not aware, most of the top players from the East Coast did not make the event.

I DO NOT want to see the same thing happen during this event. If you live on the West Coast. San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Arizona, Vegas, Northern California, etc... Then mark January 18th-20th as a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday that you are going to be in Irvine for Socal Regionals.
      SEE YOU ALL THERE!

Got my pass. If anyone is doing gatherings after each day (like dinner or stuff), let us know so we can start organizing.

@Dipstick: I'm from Arizona too (Yuma), what part are you from?

Some additional information that I gathered today regarding next weeks WNF and Socal Regional Event Tournament

WNF on 1/16 for VF is a go, but keep in mind that this event will be extremely busy as they will be holding Marvel, SF, Tekken, and more on the same night. We should have our own table near the back of the arcade and should stream on twitch.tv/vfsocal.

For Socal Regionals the first half of the VF Tournament will start at 10am on Friday 1/18. My guess is that it will start late, but the organizers want us there at 10am. After the tourney they will allow us to have casuals in the same area.
On Saturday 1/19 there will be the second and final half of the VF Tournament. I am not sure of the start time, but they will tell us on Friday.
There will be no VF on Sunday unless someone wants to set up some casual matches.

The stream schedule has been announced. This is NOT the Tournament schedule. I expect the tournament to start between 10am-12pm. So plan to still be there at 10am.

If the tournaments start at 10 AM, what time is on-site registration? I have someone coming with me who was not able to verify their attendance until yesterday, so he would need to sign up for VF on-site.

I heard it opens at 7am so if I were you I would be there by 9am

Alex posted this on the FB event page
Please Note: EVERYBODY is expected to be at SCR on Friday for check in by 9AM. If you don't have a player badge or spectator pass you will not be allowed in the ballroom. Also, there will be no switching from a Friday to a Saturday pool. We have to prepare for onsite registration which can be chaotic if not taken seriously. I appreciate everybody's understanding ♥
