    2011 Pre Beat Tribe Cup
    The Pre-Beat Tribe Cup tournament was held yesterday on 4th May 2011.

    Apparently, the tournament was streamed live, but I've been unable to locate an archive or recorded matches from it (yet). The stream channel was: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/vfrtv

    In any case, below is a small promotional video that was to serve as a teaser for the event.

    Nice to see Aoi taking the spotlight for a little while in a tourney at least -_-'. Full Swing is ruthless!

    Yeah pre beat tribe cup is a character tournament. (Mainly) It's also why I love it! [​IMG]

    They do allow mixed team but it's predominately the strongest players for each character.

    Cheers for the playlist Myke was greatly appreciated.

    So many different kinds of emotion went through me watching team Akira vs team Lion.

    Amazement, surprise, shock, anger, disbelief, rage... you get the idea! Damn you FullSwing!!!!!!!

    All BS aside, damn he played well. I honestly think that's the first match I've ever seen of him. When it came on I'm like who is this lame wanna be Fuudo / Chibita star player. Boy was I in for a surprise and it was something else to watch.

    Man, I love a game where you can see 5 guys play the same character and yet all play so different.

    I was particularly happy at how Aoi Team were able to defeat the Shun Team...hahahaha !
    Seems like the Brad Team vs Lion Team is up right now. ( quarter final ? )

    Man do I agree with you Rod! I rarely watch match footage but thoroughly enjoyed watching that guy play!! There was just something about his style that was intriguing to watch! For some reason it reminded me of watching Chibita back in the VF3 days.
