1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

What I really do not understand is why everyone calls this game difficult to play. Its probably one of the easier games to pick up and play, after all you are just picking up and playing. There is three damn buttons G,P,K how much easier could it get? How many other fighting games have three buttons? Just for the record, when the casual gamer tries to play the game they are playing casually and not interested in frame data, hardcore comp, etc. If the casual gamer was looking for the previous mentioned stuff well then, its time to learn, just like anything else. I have seen my no talent VF friends come over, pick up Pie, and unleash stupid PPPK ECT combos all day. It looks cool to them and its easy for them, they have no idea what they are doing but something cool is happening.

If combos are so hard to do in VF, how hard are they to do in MK,SF,DOA? Surely they can't be worlds apart.

its kinda like the game othello(sp?). "Easy to learn, Difficult to master." LOL. But seriously, you can take a top tier character in a game like tekken or Soul calibur and own with little difficulty. i was semi-decent at tekken, and i couldnt buffer if my life depended on it. To be good against skilled players in VF, you usually do need to know some of the games in-depth mechanics.
