If they're selling half the cast as dlc, the base game better be like $15. These season pass scams are ridiculous.

 

I would love to see both Sarah and Stella in VF6, with both characters representing two sides of the same coin with their fighting style. Stella could be more akin to Sarah's Ultimate Showdown/REVO playstyle of risk vs. reward aggression, while Sarah could have a slightly more patient approach centered around momentum and stealing her turn back from the opponent. This would paint Stella as Sarah's past self who is unable to move on from her trauma, as well as painting Sarah as someone who can grow and move past said trauma.

Translating this to gameplay would be easy for Stella, as the solution is just to use Sarah's Ultimate Showdown/REVO moveset as a template. Sarah would need a slight rework to make her side work. My suggestion would be to give her less offensive options from flamingo stance (particularly pertaining to mix-ups), but giving her a selection of hard counters and reversals to emphasize her newfound focus on momentum.

I apologize if I'm posting right after having the previous post. I remember this site has a rule if I remember correctly. I just wanted to catch the attention of anyone watching this thread. I'm just very hyped.

We're definitely getting RGG'd, looks to me like a blend of VF3's P2 outfit and Tekken levels of custom overdesign. It's not exactly what I wanted to see in a new VF, it will take me a while to get used to; on the other hand, now I'm extremely curious about how every other returning character will look like. It's bold, can't deny that.

 

That is if every character returns? I would think Lau and Shun are passed on.

 

By saying "every other returning character" I did not mean every character will return, just that I wonder about the looks of all those who will, as I assume there will be more than just Akira and Wolf. The universal quantifier is applied to the set of returning characters, which is a yet to be determined subset of VF5 characters. Sadly, I agree with you that the likelihood of seeing Shun and Lau again is low, considering how far they seem to be moving the timeline and the stupid choice to have Lau be fatally ill in VF5. But they better still have old kung fu masters prone to laughing one way or another, or I'll be the one passing on the game.

 

i understand everyone is hype for the new game my self include
, but i`m hurt, with this new design, this is not wolf for me
fact people already compare wolf to other character Iskandar ganondoft,
i hope vf6 have the legacy wolf or customize option

They will have legacy costumes for sure..its an on going trend with all the fighting games so far..

Would love to see him in his VF2 shorts and sneakers get up with this new design.

Also Idk where in the time this is yet. Hopefully they will explain the setting in the upcoming direct. But I really feel like all characters should still return. Especially Lau Chan and Shun Di. Just make it reboot of some sort but make the characters look older and more badass, that's my best take at it. So far they are doing just that and I'm so glad for them.

 

I wonder if all characters return in digital form like in virtua quest? Maybe that could explain Stella, the bridge between worlds?

 

i hope the game have dlc with a lot of customization so player have the option to support the game

The more I look at it the more convinced I am that having all that chest and neck paint plus the collar is a tasteless overkill, it should have been one thing or the other (or better yet, none).

 

I like the look here. I think I'm more just happy to see something? This definitely has me excited to see what the other characters look like both old and new.

I'm hoping we see some more gameplay this year.

 

After terrible new Wolf design i am afraid to imagine what new team will make with Goh....

 

we have 19 characters actualy in vf revo so can we wait 19 month to see gameplay or whatever? do a news letter was the same like the vf direct : no gameplay or pictures ...just a little desappointed ;( sry ...hope^^
