GGs SilentNephilim. When we played it was laggy on my end. Then I played Dennis and it was even worst for the both of us so we only played one game but then I played LA Akira and the connect was awesome! [IMG]
I'm used to getting an alright connect with Cali players like Plague and DeeThaGee but when I played LA Akira, it's like he was on the East Coast!
    GGs LaA, killer Jacky.

Also GGs to Konjou, Panther, Numbers, Boris, ThePlagueBegins and Corkscrewed.

Damn... my mindset would have been totally different if I knew that I was facing Denkai... that's wrong [IMG]
I was playing more laxed cuz I thought I was facing LaA and his secondary character all the way from Cali. Sheez, I really gotta work on my mental strength, like when I was facing Konjou last night, I got frustrated and gave up when he stopped engaging me head on and started playing runaway Kage [IMG]
Well-played Konjou, I'll work on my mental fortitude for next time and stop expecting a certain style of play just cuz of who I'm playing against.
Btw, Konjou, I don't know what made you lose your confidence before but I gotta tell you: you're wrong, you still got it [IMG]

Secret is out [IMG] . I was going to private message you Tony about my true identity but I had a feeling I would be discovered. I wanted to play people without them knowing I was Denkai to see the difference in people's play. Players seemed to be a bit more aggressive when they don't know it's me. Gerald retired from VF5 so no way he be coming back and honestly I'm on my last toes too the only difference is I will play every now and then when I feel like it I don't believe in completely retiring (at least until after WCG). However, I will not renew my Xbox live account it's pointless to renew it for me just for VF5 now.

I know I haven't posted here in a while but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the matches that come my way, recent ones being:

Konjou: OM-ing and "steppin'" My fault for not adjusting -_-

'Familia: Probably could've gotten a set in but between dealing with Konjou and Schakal at the time. It took me a bit to reply back and then I had to go eat.

JHow77: Heh, as if Shun wasn't a big enough pain to deal with [IMG]

SilentNeph: Lag and getting smacked around the place had me pulling my hair out, somehow I managed to scrape out a few wins.

GrusselGrosser: The very definition of "coming in swingin' and going down swingin'." One of these days I'll figure out what the deal is with this fixation you seem to have of me, or maybe it's Aoi [IMG]

DeeThaGee or something: 'Feck was right. El Blaze's collision boxes are apparently nonexistant -_-

There's more but I've grown too lazy to name them all :p

Shit. I wish you had told me to keep it secret. That would've been a cool experiment. I was all "Oh shit! Someone has hijacked Gerald's account! Better call him and see what's up!" Then I got news it was that SwitchenKaiShoNazeDenkoJacky guy.

I was done posting for a while, but I do still view these boards on a daily basis. hehe I just can't leave this place alone... VFDC members are just to awesome.

Any way I just wanted to mention that it was not my intent to frustrate you. It's like Flash said in his post where he offered you advice, but sometimes you gotta play a little defense bro. The way you play Brad up close and the way I play up close obviously clash. Just like you didn't like the keep away I didn't like the constant ssshhh sssshhh ssshh ssshh always attacking no matter what the situation. Plus or minus advantage you will just attack.

For a lot of characters this no big deal, but for characters like Shun, Brad, Lion, Aoi, Blaze (OM from the VF Gods) who have these really weird evasive properties from there move set, the way you play is just to much for my straight forward style. So what can I do? Purposely make you slow down and stop ssshhh sssshh sssshhh constantly attacking out of every situation.

Once you slowed down those evasive properties are thrown right out the window and it was very easy for me to get throws, launch you etc.

It's fine to have a killer offensive flow, but sometimes you gotta hold that block button man. It's there for a reason! I assume the reason people play this way is because they are afraid of the throwing game. But honestly what's worse... a throw that does 35-55 on average (I'm not talking about special throws like GS, 270) or a combo that does 60-80? You guys do the math. Sometimes I get thrown and I'm like FUCK, but no biggy I take the tech roll, come up with a new plan to get that damage back and hopefully take the round / match.

Hopefully no one finds my words offensive... I tend to get misunderstood a lot lately. Lack of education or poor choice of words I guess.

    Any way good games to:

    Panther NEO
    Lucky
    Jhow
    Familia
Chief Flash (damn you got better bro [IMG] )
    None Other
Borisofwales (playing much better now bro... don't know what you changed but I like it. Keep it up)
Jaaaaaaammm (beat knuckle spamming king, but has a lot of potential)
VFNumbers (damn dude... you just keep getting stronger and stronger [IMG] )
DeeDaGee (hehe somehow... I don't understand how, but he manage to find a way to play Blaze like he is a DOA character. I really wish our connection was better so I could punish things better. Any way good stuff and welcome to VFDC. I saw you posted on here a few times recently.)

    If I forgot anyone... GGs!!!!!!!!

You're absolutely right bro. Abare is one of my worst habits but, trust, I'm working on it. I have been working on my ETEG but when I watch replays I see where a simple standing block (G!) would have saved my ass or at least I could take my advantage and tried to turn the fight around.
Thanks for the feedback and, again, well-played, sir.

ggs konjou, i tried many things but u adapted every time whether i was playin defensive with lots to fuzzy guarding u use delayed throws and low throws, when i abare at disadvantage u evaded and punish from evade advantage. When i tried to go to lei 's stances vanessa 66k+g or 1k stops it [IMG]

Actually abare is not your fault Tony.
Brad is too fast to control well so basically most users are doing his moves by reaction. And there are some characters have similiar situation so online makes VF more tough.

Actually you can punish Brad's ssshhh sssshh stuff by P or 2P on the exactly moment. But it's very hard to do it and the condition is very limited online. One of my frined his main is Brad and he showed me the way to crash Brad's sshh sshh by P or 2P. The entire matches made Brad look like a handicap, not a boxer anymore.

    Good Games

    GGs recently to

Air Jacky - we haven't played forever. Good Jacky.

    Methedone (sara) crazy flamingo

None Other - fun jacky fights, crazy flash kick

CF White Worm - very good wolf, 2p mania but it sort of makes sense with big goon vs. punchy guy.

King of Carnage - always great

Edo2Cali - What's with the hostility bro? I sense an intense hatred of losing...

Weiand - gets the most out of his Jeff, for sure. really improved IMO

Sorry to anybody I forget. I think my layoff was good for me in a way. It cleared my head. I am trying to do more things with Lau and it has been really fun. And I have been able to get good streaks against guys I think are pretty good. Too bad nothing can help my weak knowledge of some chars (except studying, I guess [IMG] ) Still, XBL has been really fun lately for me.

GG's too a bunch of folks who I can't remember. There was Lei Fei, a Jacky, and
some crazy Pai. Also good games to Weiand even though he HATES playing me for
some reason, but if you're the only person on and not in a private match guess
who's playing you mate! Lol. I know you hate my low punch strats but I beat you
    more when I use them.

Hell even when I don't low punch (which I tried to do this time to make you happy) you still wouldn't play me more than once. It's cool though because I'll play you lol.

    Re: Good Games

I would guess that Weiand hates low punchers b/c he uses pad. I think it is harder to deal with 2p on pad, personally. The timing of reacting even to a blocked 2p and taking advantage of it is strict and for a pad person, it is very hard. For the pad guys that can deal, I think it has to do with a lot of practice and also with anticipation as much as, if not more than, reaction. That is just a guess as to why he may avoid your groin punching Jeff.

You gotta 2p with Jeff to some extent. It works like a charm against Vane. Just duck down and have at her tranny thing to stop the rush of unknowable combos that she's got...

GG's the last couple days to:

Stompoutloud's LI/Pai: You play 4/5 characters and I've reached the half-way point! It's amazing that you can play a variety of chars at the same level because your Lion was tough as nails! Also you Pai is one of the better ones I've fought in a while, although there aren't many sadly. Look forward to playing next character i line-up. [IMG]

BorisofWhales's LI: I take back what I said a week or 2 ago, you've improved a lot since the first time I fought you, I think your a credible Lion although I wish out connection was a little smoother.

None Other's JA: Shit son, now I know why your a slayer in ranked! JA isn't even your main and you were crushing me! When I won the first match I was like "shit I think I pissed him off [IMG]" and then I never won another match after that! Also those 2 matches in ranked against your shun was brutal, the second match you got 5 drinks in the beginning because I was messaging someone haha.

Cozby's JA: I give you props, your Jacky is basically almost feels the same as none others! Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea to switch from lei...... [IMG]

KingofCarnageVF's WO: Those were some intense matches! Our matches showed why our characters are heavyweights with all the damage being tossed around. Your pedigrees were frustrating because I kept on inputting down and down front when the TE I believe is down back! I sent you a message saying I saved some matches but you went offline real fast so yeah.

KaminariOyaji's AK/SA: I finally meet my KO brother in the ring, your Akira doesn't look to be one of your mains, unless it was really laggy at your part or something, but when you switched to Sarah that's when things got spicy. It's one of the top Sarah's I've fought in a while, others being Mista Tee for example.

VFnumber's LE: Sorry about the lag, at the time you came my dad was watching some videos on the internet so it lagged us a lot, still good to see your doing your crouch fuzzy's and all though lol, next time i'll make sure there are no interruptions when I chokeslam you to hell [IMG]

LibertineVFDC's BR: You got a really nice brad going there, it was fairly even I'd say except for that extra streak I got, but hey, "you gotta love that lag" [IMG]

Theres one thing in common with everyone I played, and that's the fact that I miss soo many inputs because I'm getting used to the stick so bare with me!
