    Hate to break it, but both these scrubby pai's are pullers. Back in my ranked days i ran into both of them in scenarios where they got lucky to take my master rank, and then maybe when a chunk to defender, only to then have them pull on me in match 3 or 4 when i'm taking it back...shit is infuriarating, lol.

    After that I just pulled in the lobby screen everytime their non-skilled pai's join.

    Jhow, Konjou: Anyone rank up?

    It's cool, smb. It's to the point now where I barely put the effort in keeping track. Folks coming and going as it were.

    Oh shit. That is a straight call out. lol. i always want to do that but dont, for the sake of injuring peoples pride. VF#'s straight dont care. [IMG] Keep keeping it real and doing ur thing.

    Consequently, ggs to me. For doing some some damage. If u think ur on the list...then u probably are. [IMG]

    Yeah I was definitely still suffering the effects, so that's why I just logged off after that match.

    Yeah it's definitely Jhow's style and I hate to admit it's kind of my fault he plays that way. He asked me what do I think the things are that Shun needs to win and out of 3 things I said one of them is drink management.

    Drink management is the weird quirky stuff Shun players will do at the most unsuspected times that makes your brain freeze and say WTF. For example doing a combo after a launch that does less damage but knocks the opponent away so you can take a swig from the bottle. Another is having the advantage only to lay down right in front of your opponent and get 3 drinks. Sure you take the risk of getting launch, but really how many times do you see him getting launched because of the fear that he will actually use a move from those stances.

    As you can see by his new developed style. He is ALL drink management and has pretty much perfected it. It's definitely hard to beat because it's just one safe move after another, but it's very beatable.... I know, easier said than done!

    It's so funny that you mention this Rodney. I was wondering the very same thing last night, "does Rodney think I'm ALL drink management now?" I guess I have the answer.

    It definitely developed because of the comment you made over a year ago, but I never meant it to develop to the level it has. I do think I drink too much, but like you said, drinking at weird times just completely throws the opponent off.

    Shun suits my style in fighting games so well because of one main aspect - I don't mind if I get hit. I will take chances over and over but it usually works to my advantage.

    It is definitely beatable, but the fear of running in and getting whopped is scary. Thanks for saying that I've perfected it. Although I'm not there yet, it is so fun to try and keep developing it. I'm not sure what else I can do at this point though... just keep drinking I guess. =)

    @Mista Tee
    I can tell that I deflate you after a game or two. The first match you slaughtered me, but after that I kept breathing on you with my drunken breath. Ewww.

    @SMB
    Nope, no rank up for either of us last night. =/

    Oh, were you that Jacky I faced yesterday? Thanks for teaching me stuff. I got caught by your backwalking tactics and your heavy use of [P]+[K][K]. Our connection was good, so I can't blame it on lag this time. [IMG]

    I'm not saying that you're a spammer. I figure that you only were doing those things because it was working. You let me know where I needed work, so I'll be working on overcoming those tactics. Dealing with [P]+[K][K] can be difficult though. [IMG]

    Oh shit, I forgot I do that. It's like ingrained into my psyche lol. I wonder why I didn't think of that. I hope I put up a good challenge man. I think I'm going to actually try and get better at VF. After such a long break I want to improve my game. Says a lot for this game because normally after I quit a game I'm just done.

    Yo ggs to Lucky and Slide from the other day. Now I got a few hacks of my own! Lucky dude, remind me to always be weary of those sabakis. It's sucks for jacky cuz even if i wanna throw an elbow out, so i knee instead, you got a sabaki for that too... sucks. On the other hand, you have reminded me that I gotta get my Akira back on track for some due punishing. YOU'RE NEXT RODNEY! Seriously though man... you got serious anti-coz. Im trying to take you out next month man.

    Denkai I hope I can get you either Wednesday or Thursday night. You goin down though.

    It's odd; you're lei-fei is such a morphgasm, in any situation. I think Phoenix is solid and straight forward, and I arrow punch spam [IMG] Winning against you really came out of you making mistakes that I was ready to take advantage of. I definitely agree that Jacky has some serious lei-fei shutdown tools. Yupa was doing alot better as well. His offense has changed quite a bit from the last time I seen him, and the big part being that he wasn't rushing so much. To be honest, I thought he wulda pulled out more wins on you, alot of them were 5 sets that you would somehow takeover in the final rounds. I gotta find a new formula now for both of you [IMG]

    GGs Slide. I feel like I made at least a little headway since last time. But man, every time I scored a match you would come back with a VENGEANCE. I keep getting caught by that Flamingo high full circular with the special high follow up. I actually just looked at the command list and saw you can evade the special high forward, think that would be a good solution or is it better to just be patient?

    Anyway, my understanding of Sarah is just getting that much better thanks to you. Good matches, I recorded a good bit of them while playing and I'll upload them later.

    But being patient against Sarah definitely seems to pay off. I just wish I could do better considering Goh is like a natural counterpick to her lol.

    I would've played longer but I gotta get some exercise in before taking my brother to his hockey game, catch you next time man. Thanks again.

    yoooo maaaan ggs!

    Oh I'm really sorry I forgot to shout you out ggs in my previous post, I thought that I did. But ggs to this new session too man, it's too much fun.

    Well the reason the follow up from FL K+GK is hitting you, is because of what I do after FL K+G makes contact, so most of the time I have a good guess on when I'll actually connect the follow up and actually do the follow up, instead of spinning around you. Goh doesn't have alot of double hitting moves, so I took gambles on mirage stepping.

    Best solution would probably be to sabaki the follow up if you feel it's coming, although I try to leave the hole there on purpose in order to spin around what would beat that move or to put distance between Sarah and the person crouching for the followup. So I actually don't really know.

    I actually prefer FL K+G over FL K because most of my opponents will not attack me low in flamingo anymore.

    You do a great job of avoiding elbow pressure, most of the time I could only land mids on you if you evaded and I delayed or watched you go for failed evade and punish.

    EDIT: how much of it did you record? I'm really looking forward to seeing these matches

    I was wondering why you were going in and out, I could tell you got a lil frustrated after the first match.
