ggs to silent nephilim. haha, we had each other's heads spinning from time to time with the mixups we did on each other. Pure fun. We should have saved some of those matches.

You have improved so much since the socal we met!!! Nice job!!!
But I forgot to tell you something you probably need to pay attention a little bit. The thing is that you use Akira's moves to move your character on screen. Which means if I keep the distance long enough, almost 80% you are going to use 66p+k in order to be close to me. Based on your habbit, and you can find out you rely on 6p, 66p and 336pp to forward your character instead of using 66 or 33. Once I backward a little bit, all I need to do is to use 214p to see if I can catch you or not, and I don't need to worry about if I fail coz I keep the distance already. Recall those matches between us from Socal and tonight, you can understand what I was talking about. Keep working man!! We need more brisal... I mean more Akira!!!

I'm going to L_A's place tonight to pick up the tables we used for the tournament. I should be doing some movement training with him while I am there.

Educational and Good games to True Wiseman who gave my Lau some real tough fights with Vannessa. She has lots of "magic property" moves I didn't even know about and I was totally confused.

GGs to AssassinCP who plays a very effective turtle Goh. I am worse at dealing with this as Jeff, since Lau has way better moves to close the distance. I'm definitely weak in general vs. players with the patience and determination to wait till I whiff an attack, cuz I will almost always oblige. Between Goh's sebakis, and elbow/low punch eating shoulder, his DMPK, and finally just the old fashioned 44 , he is not just a good turtle, but a juicing, freakish monster-turtle.

Great Games and Thanks to Mr. Tee last night. I was about to give up when you joined. I woulda played even more than the two hours we did play, but I have to sleep sometime. It ended up coming down to who did best when at small adv/dis and of course whethter I did the right thing vs. Flamingo.

Oh, and those Jeff kicks I did after the round were my attempt to depict Jeff trying to understand Sarah's moves: "Me have flamingo too! Bwa ha ha!"





Oh, and sorry to Vulcan (Shun guy), but I really couldn't bear more than two matches of that, uh, style.

 

Yes, online sucks!!! But it's only tiny stuff we earn right now.

Do some movement training when you have a chance, and that helps you either in 5 or R when it comes out.

yeah, vulcan doesn't pose much of a challenge after you realize he just wants to chase u on rising and do 1kk. i agree with the "uh, style." portion of that comment. Makes you wonder, is he sitting in a living room somewhere completely unaware of why he can't get past 7-8th dan ranking?
