First of all, did this joystick is the original part of you stick or is just a replacement?
if is the latter then just need to rewire the whole thing, you need to find the wiring diagram, or you can use a multi meter and find each pin.
that applies both your stick and your joystick.

No creo que alguien más decida comentar aquí así que será más sencillo explicarlo así:
tu problema parece ser un simple cableado, yo creo que moviendo 2 pines es muy posible que soluciones el problema, el detalle es si estás utilizando un arnés de 5 pines donde no puedas escoger el orden de estos.
intenta con otra palanca y publicas otro mensaje para saber si eso solucionó el problema.
