The highly requested Replay Mode is confirmed to be in the next update patch: 1.04! Not only will Replay Mode have the options already available in the Free Training Mode, but new options such as hiding opponent's name and ability "to take control and play from any point you choose" will be included.

Update: May 25, 2025. Final day of Combo Breaker. The Top 24 will be streamed on Tampa Never Sleeps Twitch channel and Sega's Official YouTube channel.

This thread will be used to summarize any news related to the Virtua Fighter Open Championship (VFPC). This weekend's Combo Breaker is the first qualifier to start the VFOC!

As announced in the Spring 2025 VF Direct, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. No concrete date has been announced, but you can now put the game in your "Wishlist" on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. REVO version on Switch 2, which the console will be released on June 5, 2025, is still listed as "Coming Soon".

On the 10th and 11th of May 2025, EVO Japan hosted the 19th VFR Beat-Tribe Cup tournament. After the conclusion of the EVO Japan 2025 events, the second VF Direct will be released in 8 different languages!

Lots of VF activity at Day 1 of EVO Japan 2025. SEGA's booth, Tetsuko's VF Party with a 3on3 Random Team Battle, and Isamu Yamagishi of VFR/Beat-Tribe fame received the Cannon Award.

We've had a few good months since VF5 Revo's release where we've seen a number of updates, some big events with lots of hype, and we're just around the corner from some more excitement and invigoration for all! In the April Producer Letter, Aoki confirms that Replay Mode will be implemented into VFR R.E.V.O.
